This App teaches students some preliminariesaswell as advanced topics in Bharathanatyam. The lessons aredividedinto Beginner, Junior and Intermediate. Video tutorials areprovidedunder each level. The videos are short and crisp and rangebetween 3to 10 minutes. The videos are ably demonstrated by DrRanjani andher students. The app has both free and paid versions.The freeversion has 10 video tutorials. This can be downloadedfrom the playstore. The paid version has about 50 video tutorialsand can bedownloaded for a total cost of Rs 500 or USD 7.3.The Beginner level contains videos on Introduction,Theory,Prayers and Initiation, Warm Up and Adavus. There are atotal of 28beginner level videos. Among these are Adavu Videoswhich containtutorials and demos on Tattu Adavu, Naatu Adavu, PakkaAdavu, JaaruAdavu, Chillu and Kuditha Mettu Adavu, Veeshal andParshwa Adavu,Kathi ,Karthari and Shaayal Adavus, Tattu Mettu,Utpalvana andBrahmari , Mandi and Sarukkal Adavus. The adavus aredemonstratedin different beats and tempos.Junior Level contains video tutorials and demos on AlarippuandJatiswaram. Alaripu section contains 3 tutorials on MishraandTishra Alarippu. Pallavi and Anupallavi, Charanam and Charana Swaram.Totalof 12 video tutorials.Intermediate Level contains video tutorials and demosonNrityanjali and Shabdam. There are 4 video tutorials inNrityanjaliand 7 video tutorials on Shabdam.All the videos have been recorded by the artiste and thestudentsusing their smart phones and have been edited byprofessional videoeditors.The videos are streamed from a Virtual Private server onthecloud and may take between 30 seconds to 1.5 minute to download.Itis advised to download a maximum of 3 or 4 video tutorials duringalearning session. A video once downloaded can be played withaninternet connection instantaneously using the Phones Localmemory.The App is about 11.68 MB in size when it is installedinitiallyand can grow to 575 MB when all videos are downloaded. Itis alsoadvised not to download all the videos at one stretch fromtheserver.The videos play well with a good 3G /4G connection and on aSmartdevice which does not have too many apps installed whichcauseperformance degradation.The download speed when fiber netwi-fi isused is very high. The app will by default use the spaceon the SDcard. All the videos will be deleted when the App isuninstalled

Since thevideosuse streaming to play an active internet connection isrequired forthe duration of the song. The videos play well with agood 3G /4Gconnection and on a Smart device that does not have toomany appsinstalled which causes performance degradation.
